About the Cowhorse Ranch

 History of the Cowhorse Ranch

Bob Taylor grew up on the land and still remains in the area. After he sold a portion of the land for development, the Cowhorse Ranch property became a hub of activity for the team roping world.

Subsequent owners changed the focus, but its current owners, Michelle and Dean, plan to reclaim its heritage as an equine facility. They have turned the property into the lovely retreat you are about to experience.

The Cowhorse Ranch recently hosted the Traditional Cowboy Arts Association Annual General Meeting with guests traveling from as far away as Argentina.

Future plans include refurbishing the riding arena to support cowhorse related activities such as roping and cutting, in addition to equine-themed personal development retreats such as those organized and facilitated by The Cowgirl’s Code.
