How far away is the Cowhorse Ranch?

• 45 minutes from Southcentre Mall
• 60 minutes from the Calgary Airport.

Do I need horse experience?

• No. This experience does not include horseback riding.
• All participants will be working directly with the horses from the ground in a safe space.
• You will be grooming and leading your equine friends.
• This experience is strictly limited to six participants, so everyone will get instruction as needed.

What do I wear?

• Please wear comfortable clothes. You will get dirty!
• We will be in the foothills, so weather can change quickly. A jacket is a great idea.
• When you are near the horses, closed-toe shoes or boots are required.

What else do I need to bring?

• Sunscreen and bug spray.
• Please be kind to the environment. Bring a water bottle.

Are meals included? Yes!

• Pastries and fruit for breakfast.
• Lunch will be sandwiches and vegetables, cookies, coffee, tea and water.
• Not just any sandwiches, these are fresh roasted meats on homemade buns, generally with garden vegetables.

Can you accommodate special dietary requirements?

• Our ability may be limited.
• Contact us to see what we can work out.

• Fully refundable if Jocelyn Hastie or the Cowhorse Ranch should cancel.
• Should you cancel at least 14 days prior to event, we will refund less a $200 non-refundable deposit per person.
• No refund for cancellation less than 14 days prior to event.
